At this point, even a few Republicans are begging former First Lady Michelle Obama to run for president against Donald Trump.

This week, filmmaker Michael Moore did an interview where he explained that Barack Obama’s wife is the only person who can get Trump out of the White House after one term.

Moore claimed that despite the fact that over 20 candidates are running for president in 2020, he feels that the former first lady is best equipped to get the job done.

Moore was talking to MSNBC’s Brian Williams Wednesday night after the second Democratic debate when he revealed: “Everybody watching this right now knows she is a beloved American, and she would go in there, and she would beat him. She’d beat him in the debates, he wouldn’t be able to bully her, he wouldn’t be able to nickname her … and she is beloved. Just go to C-SPAN and follow her book tour across the country.”

He went on to say: “She’s playing 15,000-seat arenas in the Midwest. They have to turn people away. She takes the stage, and she’s so powerful and so good. You just look at that, and you think, ‘Of course. She could win.’”

The Fahrenheit 9/11 director went to say that it is wishful thinking because he knows that Michelle has zero interest in returning to Washinton.

He said: “But everyone’s now saying well, of course, she’s not going to run. Well, has anyone asked her? I think if she were asked, ‘Look, we’re sorry about this. We have to come back to you; you have to go back to the White House, your country needs you,’ if asked to serve, I believe she would serve.”

The Democrat told the reporter: “I think she would win; she would crush him.”

A few hours later, many were shocked when Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt showered Michelle with praises by saying: “She is beloved around the world.”

Michelle was quick to respond in a new interview that appeared in The National where she spoke with 12-year-old journalist Hilde Lysiak.

The mother of two said: “Just between us, and the readers of this magazine — there’s zero chance. There are so many ways to improve this country and build a better world, and I keep doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives. But sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office will never be one of them. It’s just not for me.”

At least, this is clear.
